I talked to somebody that is a career agent for a major company; can they do the job for me?

Yes they can perform the needs analysis for you, but they have a product limitation. A carrier agent only sells what the company has to offer, which is usually one policy. That policy may be for you and it may not be.

What you really need to do is sit down with an agent that sells Long Term Care only and represents several different companies. You are an individual and one policy does not fit everybody.
