I have a policy for several years and I can no longer afford to pay the premium, what can I do?

Some of the older and not so well rated plans have increased in cost. What you need to do is look at your present benefits, see if they are greater than you might need.

For example you may have purchased a plan with lifetime benefits, if you are older; you may not need a lifetime plan.

Call the insurance company as them what the cost would be if you reduced your plan to say, three or four years of benefits
