Long Term Care problems Solved
Ask the expert, Dennis H. Lentin
I have a policy that gives me four hours per day in help, will that always be the case?
Most policies sold today do not specify that amount of help you can receive
in hour, but rather in dollars per day. If for example, you have a benefit
of $100.00 per day and help costs $10.00 per hour, your policy will pay for
up to ten hours. There were some older policies that cover a specified number
of hours at a maximum dollar amount. In those cases you were limited by both
dollars and hours.
