I have a mild case of Diabetes using only forty units of Insulin a day. Why won’t Long Term Care Insurance companies insure me?

I am not a physician, but if you are taking forty units of Insulin a day your Diabetes is probably not mild. Several of the LTCI companies will not take an application from someone who uses any Insulin and the few that do, will not consider you if you have any circulation problems in addition to either Diabetes type I or II.
