Long Term Care problems Solved
Ask the expert, Dennis H. Lentin
My sister received an aide to help her. The aide was paid for by her Long Term Care policy. The aide is not a nice person and does very little. If I have a policy, do I have to use the people that the company sends?
Most companies do not send people; they provide the funds to pay for the
people that you choose. Be careful when you buy a plan to make sure that you
do not buy one that makes you use a network that the company controls.
In any case if you do not like they person that you have, call the agency
that provided them and tell them the problem. It is always better to have a
policy that will allow you to hire anyone of your choosing.
